FiroGate is a self-hosted cryptocurrency payment gateway. By creating an account you agree to use it exclusively for lawful purposes. Misuse may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using FiroGate ("the Service"), you ("User" or "Merchant") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users worldwide, regardless of jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your country.
2. Permitted Use
You may use FiroGate solely to:
Accept Firo (FIRO) cryptocurrency payments for legitimate goods and services
Integrate our payment API into lawful e-commerce, SaaS, or digital product platforms
Process transactions where you have obtained all required licenses and permits in your jurisdiction
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use FiroGate to process payments for, or in connection with:
Illegal goods or services of any kind under applicable local, national, or international law
Narcotics, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
Weapons, firearms, explosives, or military equipment without proper licensing
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors — zero tolerance
Human trafficking, forced labor, or exploitation
Fraud, phishing, identity theft, or scams of any kind
Money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion
Unauthorized hacking services, malware, ransomware, or exploit kits
Gambling or betting services where prohibited by law
Counterfeit goods, pirated software, or intellectual property infringement
Any service that violates applicable AML/KYC regulations in your jurisdiction
Zero Tolerance Policy
Violations will result in immediate account suspension, fund freezing pending review, and reporting to law enforcement where legally required.
4. Legal Compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of FiroGate complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
Complying with all applicable laws, including tax, AML, KYC, and financial regulations
Obtaining any required business licenses or regulatory approvals
Calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable taxes
Maintaining accurate transaction records where required
Implementing KYC/AML procedures where legally required
FiroGate does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
You should consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before using the software in a production or commercial environment.
5. Service Availability
FiroGate is provided as self-hosted, source-available software.
It is distributed on an "as-is" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
Transaction confirmation times on the Firo network
Compatibility with future versions of the Firo protocol
Availability of any optional or private-core features
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FiroGate and its operators shall not be liable for:
Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of funds due to user error, wallet mismanagement, or blockchain issues
Actions taken by third parties, including the Firo network validators
Losses resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms
7. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Privacy First: FiroGate is built with privacy as a core principle. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the payment gateway. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Account data (required):
Username, email address, hashed password
API keys and webhook configurations (encrypted at rest)
Customer email addresses (if collected via checkout)
Technical data:
IP addresses for rate limiting and fraud prevention (not sold or shared)
Request logs (retained for a limited period for security purposes)
2. How We Use Your Data
To operate and maintain your payment gateway account
To process and monitor Firo blockchain transactions
To send webhook notifications to your configured endpoint
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
To comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
3. Data Security
All sensitive fields (2FA secrets, webhook secrets) are encrypted at rest using AES-256
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plaintext
API keys are generated using cryptographically secure random functions
Webhook payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256 for integrity verification
Access to the admin panel is protected by IP whitelist, secret route, and 2FA
4. Tor / Privacy Mode
FiroGate supports access via Tor (.onion hidden service). When you connect via Tor:
Your IP address is not logged or linked to your account
Your account is flagged as "privacy mode" — certain IP-based features are disabled
Checkout links generated for .onion sessions use the onion address
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active
Payment records are retained for a minimum period required by applicable law
IP logs are purged on a rolling basis per our database cleanup schedule
Upon account deletion request, personal data is removed within 30 days (except where legal retention is required)
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
When required by law or court order
To prevent imminent harm or illegal activity
With your explicit written consent
Note: Firo blockchain transactions are public by nature. Transaction IDs, addresses, and amounts visible on-chain are not considered private data under this policy.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Object to certain processing of your data
